So often when we experience Anxiety we want to focus on the tomorrows. We want to know what will happen in the future. How we will get something done. What we should be doing in the future. What can we do to remove a certain obstacle down the road so we don't have to experience something. Our mind start to get away from us when we do this. Then the anxiety we are feeling is getting to be more and more as we add more and more things that we need to worry about in the future. What if we could focus in on just today? Let's get through today. Let's focus in on what we need to do today. Our brain can focus in on the minute in front of us or the hours ahead. What needs to get done. Sometimes our brain has a hard time grasping the big picture. Lets focus in on the Win today. Just make it a Win for today. Then once we can accomplish that, we can start to focus in on the things that are tomorrow and then the next day. But for now our brain may just need a "Win Today". Something to tell ourselves that we got this. We can do it. We can go to school and talk to people or we can get our assignments done. Or whatever is holding you from doing all that you want to do.
