Where is your anxiety Coming from?

Anxiety is what I like to call a secondary emotion. That means we feel another negative emotion first and then we don't process it and then it builds into anxiety. Quite often that negative emotion is worry. Eckhart Tolle said "Worry pretends to be necessary". I love that quote so much. We allow worry to be part of lives. We then build and build it until it grows so intense it turns into anxiety. What if we could stop worrying? Worry stops us all the time from doing the things we want to do. We are either worrying about what has happened in our past or we worry about what is going to happen in the future. We have no more control over what has happened in the past. We can no longer change it. If we worry about what is going to happen in the future then we are stuck and we can't move forward. I love the last line in Gone With the Wind. At the end of the movie Scarlet is standing there with hope in her eyes she says, "I will think about it tomorrow... After all, tomorrow is another Day." I really like how she puts her worries away and says she will think about it tomorrow. She will press forward. Don't get stuck in the worry now and today. You can figure it out tomorrow. Tomorrow is another day.
