Today I wanted to share with you a few things that I have been working on with a few of my clients. We have been talking a lot about self-confidence. Confidence is something that I think most people really struggle with. Now Self-Confidence is different then Confidence. Confidence is when you have created evidence that you know that you could do something because you have done it before. Self-Confidence is when you are doing something that you have not done before and you are willing to feel whatever emotion comes with it. Whether it's being scared or nervous or uncertain. You are willing to feel those things and your willing to fail at it and still do it. So one of the things that we have been talking about is doing a Dare of The Day. So you choose to do something that makes you feel uncomfortable each day of the week. I was working on doing the dare of the week this summer, and one of the things that I did was cliff jumping. Although I was scared and uncomfortable, I knew that I was going to do it. So I climbed up the rocks and went up to the top and I just jumped. I didn't even allow myself to think about it. I just did it because I knew that I was going to do it. The feeling of accomplishment that I had was so much greater than the feelings of anxiousness or fear that I had beforehand. So that is what I want to challenge you to do today. Make a choice to do a dare of the day, every day this week. It does not have to be as big as jumping off a cliff into the water below, but it does need to challenge you and put you outside your comfort zone. You got this. You can do it. Because you are building your Self-Confidence.
